Regina and Debbie are straight-shooting sassy ladies bringing east coast southern charm and get-it-done personalities to the west coast.
Debbie Pollick is our Sugar Branch Event’s CEO and Principal Designer. Debbie brings 20 years of event planning and design experience to the team. She has an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to transform any space into a masterpiece. Whether working on an event or with a builder to design the perfect room, she blends textures, colors and personal touches to make each project unique, sophisticated and stunning. “I actually get butterflies in my stomach when I start the design process, it’s sheer excitement and joy!" Her management style, vision and direction is an incredible asset to our client’s experience. “We treat our clients like they are part of our family. My goal is not to have a one time client, but to provide them with such an exceptional experience that they come back time and time again. I love being part of lifelong memories! I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love every day.”
When Debbie’s not planning events, she enjoys spending time with her husband, 5 children, 2 stepchildren, 4 grandchildren and her beautiful cat, Zedo. You can also find her on the stand-up paddle board- it is her newest obsession!
Regina Banks is an east coast transplant that has entertaining built into her DNA! She’s a Brooklyn, NY born Italian that adores being surrounded by love, food, laughter and LIFE! She’s been in the hospitality industry since 1987. Her passion for weddings came in 2000 as a Sales Manager for an upscale Newport Beach, CA yacht charter company. The rest, as they say, is history!
“My clients are an extension of family, and I enjoy all types of events, from the largest of weddings to the most intimate dinner party for a CEO. " Regina’s superpower is attention to detail. She pairs this with passion and hard work, harnessing this dynamic trio of traits into an AMAZING event experience!
Fun fact- If she wasn’t in the hospitality space, she’d likely be a lawyer. Regina is married with three beautiful step-children. She enjoys cooking and travel, considers herself a foodie (sushi is her fav) and is unabashedly obsessed with searching for the best cup of Joe or the cheesiest slice of pizza she can find.
