8 SUMMER WEDDING IDEAS
Nautical Themed Sweets. Even if your wedding isn’t completely beach-themed, a sweet surprise will add a pop of fun and flare.
Light, flowing dresses. Even add a little hint of blush to your Summer wedding! If you’re local to the Orange County area, be sure to visit Blush Bridal Couture in Tustin for some gorgeous wedding dresses! (Blush. JLM Couture)
Sky lantern release. Stemming from Asian custom, a sky lantern ceremony at your wedding, no matter how big or how small, is sure to be a special memory. Release them during twilight or just after dark to remember those you’ve lost or to represent the release of your past or the hope for your future. Write thoughts or messages on the rice paper before releasing.
Root beer floats. Every guest will feel like a kid again.
Popsicles!! A great way to further infuse color into the event.
Patterned table linen. There are so many fabrics out there to be had. Create custom table linen with floral or patterned fabric to make your tables pop. Crisp white plates and monochromatic centerpieces will lend a freshness to your summer soirée (and maybe even save you money). These would look especially crisp for outdoor receptions set on a bright green lawn.
Watermelon cocktails. Nothing says summer like a bright ripe watermelon. This cocktail is so simple – watermelon juice and rosemary-infused vodka! Leave out the vodka for the kiddos. Easy peasy.
Tangerine Tango. YES, it’s the Pantone color of the year. THE WHOLE YEAR. NO, we’re not tired of it yet! Make it fresh by pairing it with unexpected complimentary colors like mustard and mint or royal blue and purple. Summer begs for bold color.
