Nina & Mo came to us from scratch! And when we say scratch, we mean, they got engaged, moved to California for their crazy busy jobs and then found us. {Yippee!} They are both radiologists who met during their residency back East {I know you’re all thinking McDreamy & Meredith right now}. So we were with them from the very beginning and introduced them to a beautiful boutique hotel in Manhattan Beach called The Shade Hotel. For those of you who are not familiar with the South Bay, Shade is a hop skip and a two-second walk from the pier and perfectly fit all of Nina & Mo’s ceremony and reception venue criteria. Then it was on to the fun stuff, DJ, Flowers, Photographer, the wedding to-do’s go on. The time just flew by and before we knew it, it was a gorgeous, balmy Summer Sunday in July. But what was really special about Nina & Mo’s wedding was their duel-religious ceremonies, honoring both their religious and cultural heritages. Rev. Ralph performed the traditional Protestant ceremony and then the lovely women of both families facilitated the Persian ceremony. Everything was executed beautifully, and once the Persian ceremony concluded, Rev. Ralph pronounced them Husband and Wife. We absolutely adored working with this sweet couple and shortly after their wedding, they moved back to the East Coast! Nina & Mo, we hope you’re enjoying married life and settling into your new life! A huge thank you to JoLise and the entire staff at Shade who were wonderful to work with. And the biggest of biggest thank you’s to Mr. Josh Elliott of Josh Elliott Photography for capturing this amazing day!!
